Happy Birthday Mom!

Today would have been Mom's 92nd birthday.  She passed away in 1995 and I still miss her each and every day.  I was telling my great and good friend Lainey about her today and decided that I should post up a few of my favourite pics of her.  So, without further ado...

This is, I think possibly around the time she became engaged to my dad.  So... 1946?

And this is a very glamourous Mom a few years before that.

And this is a picture of Mom, many years later with my cousin, Danny (who is a couple of years older than me).  It's one of my fave pictures of them both.

And here we are, Mom and me, on the occasion of my first communion.  We lived in Cincinnati at the time.  That's a Jesus nightlight that I got as a gift that I still have somewhere here.  *LOL*

And lastly, here's Mom in her Official Cruise Portrait back in 1988.  She went with her best friend, and they had a BLAST!

Love you, Mom!!

A Review

I had been looking forward to reading Dirty Deeds by S.E. Jakes and I wasn't disappointed.  S.E. is quickly becoming one of my favourite M/M authors and if you like action/adventure/thriller Special Forces type books, she's a go to author.

You can find my review of Dirty Deeds over at Boolikes, as always.  :)

And Because... Memories. :)

My great and good friend Colleen and me back in the day... I think it was our friend Trisha's wedding or maybe it was Dave and Marlene's.... looks like the curling club, so I'll go with Trisha's.

Apropos of Because I Feel Like It...

I've watched this scene at least 6 times over the past couple of months and it still brings me to tears.

God, I love this show.

A Review

It took me a while to finish this.... almost a month and that's an eternity for me!  For the most part, I was only taking the time to read before I turned out the light before sleeping.  I did enjoy it, though!

They Make Me Happy.

It occurs to me that I've not posted some of my favourite eye candy in a while.  Today, I came across a great pic of my Strike Back boys.

The ruggedly handsome duo of Sullivan Stapleton (Damien Scott) and Philip Winchester (Michael Stonebridge).   They make me happy.  :)

(Yeah, the pic is a tad big, but... it's the guys!)
