On Writing (Amy Lane)

One of my favourite authors, Amy Lane, has written a terrific blog post with advice to new writers and while, yes, it's for new writers, I think the advice it contains should also serve as a reminder to those that have been at it for a while.

I am going to link it here, so that I can keep track of it.  I'm going to take heed of her #1 right away and even expand the idea a little bit and post links to other author's posts that I find interesting and inspiring and helpful.  So, here is the first one...
